Iowa Assistive Technology Outcomes Research Database

The Iowa Assistive Technology Outcomes Research Database is a collection of reviews of research articles focused on outcomes of AT use in K-12 settings. These reviews provide a short synopsis of research articles including type of AT used, types of disabilities students who used these tools had, and the results of the study. The goal of these reviews is to provide access to meaningful information from relevant AT research studies for professionals that don’t have the time to read several entire research articles when creating justifications for AT use. The articles have been broken down into several categories and keywords have been included for easier searching. Although this is not a comprehensive review of every research article involving AT outcomes, its current form, this database has reviewed 265 articles and will continue to add more in the future.
